Very clean and well maintained. Excellent for a couple to relax in as it is spacious, you can cook your own meals, it's in a great location and has a big bed! The owners of the apartment are very accommodating.

The smell from the bathroom was unusual. When I first arrived it filled the whole apartment, and I was told to run the water in the bathroom and the smell would dissipate. I ran it for about half an hr and the smell improved in the apartment, but it always remained in the bathroom. It woke me up several times during the night. It's hard to describe, but it smells like a mixture of sewage and salami! It's tolerable however, and for the price you can't complain really.

Imagine a place like your own flat to discover Iasi. Clean and very central with your own kitchen and bathroom for a price your normally get just a dorm in a hostel. Constanin is also very helpful and friendly and gives all information you need.

It's important to remember that this is an apartment not a hotel. For me this was an advantage. The apartment was well equipped for basic cooking (two hobs, microwave, coffee maker), but if you don't want to cook, then it is ideally located for restaurants and cafes in the area. The staff were very helpful, and the pick-up from the train station was a nice touch. The location was good for seeing the sights of the city.

The owner is very friendly and easy going, checks up on you regularly to see if there is something he can help with. The appartment is clean, nice and located perfectly in the city. The price - quality ratio is excellent. Definatly worth a try when you go to Iasi.
